ARventure

ARventure is an educational mobile app that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology created alongside its scrapbook and flashcards. It was developed with the goal of enhancing the learning experience for lower secondary school students learning Science (based on the Malaysian KSSM learning syllabus). Several pages from the scrapbook were used as AR target markers as well as the flashcards, which is used for answering the Quiz feature in the app.

Instructions:

1. Download the app on your Android device.
2. Click on the downloaded file and choose install (if your device warns you about installing an apk from an unknown source, either proceed with the download or change your phone settings to "Allow downloads from unknown sources" first).
3. Wait for the app to be successfully installed.
4. You can now access the app!

**Open the provided Google Drive link to access the scrapbook / flashcards. You may print the items for your personal use, however please DO NOT DISTRIBUTE OR RESELL without my permission**

Features in the app:

• Main Menu
  • AR Camera : Used for scanning the pages in scrapbook. Users may tap on the 3D models to read trivia / additional information.
  • Activities : Works like a Quiz, but instead of the usual multiple choice question (MCQ), users are required to scan the correct answer using the flashcards based on the questions provided.
• Hamburger menu
  • Settings : Users may adjust the volume for the background music / sound effects to their liking.
  • Tutorial : A short instruction on how to use the app.
  • Credits : A section to credit the Assets used in the app.
